Mika Liffner - Exhibition

Mika Liffner lives on a small farm in Tryserum and works as a teacher and artist. She paints on recycled materials, leftover building materials, fabrics and old shelves. She paints quickly, which requires paint that dries quickly. It will be acrylic paint. With her paintings, she wants to tell us about everything she sees and everything she thinks. She plays with color, shapes, texts and figures until the image says it is ready. Now she exhibits at Belloni's gallery in Stockholm. Welcome!

Six years of Slussen captured in watercolor

For six years, artist Elisabeth Biström has documented the transformation of Slussen through her watercolors. Her work is now on display in Slussenrummet. The exhibition comprises eighteen art prints based on the paintings Elisabeth Biström created while following the progress of the Slussen project. With this exhibition, the City of Stockholm aims to show a new perspective on the historic transformation of Slussen, highlighting the people and the work taking place behind the fence.

The Cinema Mystery – LasseMaja’s Detective Agency

Three dogs have disappeared in Valleby, and young detectives Lasse and Maja set out to find the mysterious dog kidnapper. The clues lead to the darkness of the local cinema, where the audience can help solve the case. Based on the book by Martin Widmark and Helena Willis, the performance is in Swedish, lasts about 45 minutes, and is recommended for children aged 5 and above.

Ten years of the scholarship competition The Thinking Hand has come to an end. A jubilee exhibition will open in October 2026 featuring the artists and scholarship recipients during ten years. This marks the end of the scholarship competition, which was first established to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 70th birthday in 2016. The scholarship competition and exhibition is a collaboration between the Royal Court and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

Through his material, Mahmod explores questions of identity, belonging and representation, rooted in his experience of growing up in Skåne as a first-generation Swede.

Stephen Wilson Jr. - Gary The Torch Tour

Stephen Wilson Jr.'s journey from the hollers of southern Indiana to Nashville, Tenn. has been a winding road that's taken many detours: He's been an Indiana State Golden Gloves boxing championship finalist, a scientist, and a lead guitarist and songwriter in an indie rock band. In 2016, he ditched his laboratory 9-to-5 and signed a publishing deal with BMG Nashville where his alchemic songcraft immediately made waves, leading to cuts from Caitlyn Smith, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash and more. 2023 proved to be Wilson Jr.'s breakthrough year, signing with Big Loud Records and releasing his debut double album søn of dad: a triumphant, genre-spanning set of 22 songs dedicated to his late father and given to the world on the five-year anniversary of his passing. The album was named the No. 1 album of 2023 by Holler who called it "a record for the ages," and earned a spot as one of the best albums of the year from Whiskey Riff, Wide Open Country and Rolling

I höst återvänder The Wallflowers till Sverige för första gången på mycket länge för att ge en konsert på Fållan i Stockholm den 12 november. Konserten kommer att ges i två delar -- först bränner bandet av hela "Bringing Down the Horse "i sin helhet och efter en kortare paus kommer de tillbaka för att spela hela Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers "Long After Dark" (!). Guldgruvan är helt gratis om man vågar ta risken att inte komma in eller få en ståplats, då är de bara att dyka upp. Det man köper här är garanterad sittplats. Guldgruvan är den lilla ståuppklubben med de bästa komikerna, som verkligen levererar när det kommer till klassisk och ärlig stand-up comedy. Det mysiga rummet har vid flera tillfällen liknats med Comedy Cellar i New York och är som gjort för standup comedy shower. Klubben grundades av Simon Gärdenfors och Johannes Brenning och drivs idag av Johannes och Leon Jämtin. Här får du uppleva humor i sin mest autentiska form -- inga filter, bara skarpa skämt och råa skratt. Showerna är i källaren på den lokala krogen Sofia Common som rymmer cirka 70 personer, här får du en intim och nära upplevelse, där både komiker och publik är på samma nivå. Dungen Det nya Dungen-albumet "Vidrig vår" släpps den 25 september och är en öppen och personlig skildring av en långvarig relations sönderfall. Som första singel från skivan, som hör till det musikaliskt mest nakna de har spelat in, släpps nu "En gång i timmen" -- en låt som både låter omisskännligt Dungen och stakar ut en ny riktning.
