Marie-Chantal Long and Swing Club present a full evening of French flair, rich in physical expression and vocal power, featuring *chansons*, Gypsy jazz, and plenty of laughter. Swing Club provides the accompaniment for Marie-Chantal’s French *chansons*, by artists such as Piaf, Brel, and Barbara, while also weaving in Gypsy jazz, including both original compositions and traditional pieces from the repertoire of Django Reinhardt.

French actress and singer Marie-Chantal Long and Swing Club present a full evening of French music, featuring expressive vocals and performance, chansons, Gypsy jazz, and plenty of laughter. Swing Club accompanies Marie-Chantal on French chansons (by the likes of Piaf, Brel, and Barbara) and also performs Gypsy jazz, playing both original compositions and traditional jazz from Django Reinhardt’s repertoire. Food service at the café begins at 6:00 PM.

Erykah Badu defined and shaped the neo-soul genre from the late 1990s onwards. She is renowned for her uncompromising artistry, her Afrocentric and bohemian style, and her contributions to the legendary music collective, the Soulquarians. In tonight’s tribute concert, the quartet of Anderson-Waltman-Boman-Djeridi and guest musician Catharina Wiborgh will perform and interpret many of Badu’s hits from the 90s to the present, drawing especially from her Grammy-winning album Baduizm (1998).

At tonight’s tribute concert, the quartet of Anderson-Waltman-Boman-Djeridi will perform and interpret many of Badu’s hits spanning the 90s to the present day, drawing particularly from the Grammy-winning album Baduizm (1998). The setlist features songs that define Badu’s musical identity, including the Grammy-winning On & On, Green Eyes, Didn’t Cha Know, Other Side of the Game, Window Seat, Orange Moon, etc. Pre-order food if you wish.
