Trump wants to increase 2027 defense budget by 50 percent

U.S. President Donald Trump will propose a 2027 budget to Congress, which would increase U.S. defense spending by 50 percent to $1.5 trillion (equivalent to SEK 14,100 billion), according to a White House fact sheet.
