Sweden recorded its biggest women's hockey victory in twelve years and qualified for the Olympic semi-finals. After the match, the blue-and-yellow quarter-final heroes paid tribute to the Damkronorna's former equipment manager. "We played for our beloved equipment manager, Benny. This win is for him," says winning scorer Hanna Olsson after a 2–0 victory against the Czech Republic.
