As recently as 2024, Rosengård won its 14th Swedish Championship title. This year, the Malmö team is in danger of being relegated from the Swedish women’s top division. After a 0-2 home defeat to Hammarby, everything will be decided in the final round.

Brommapojkarna away next weekend. That will decide whether the big club Rosengård can survive in the Damallsvenskan.

The exact conditions will be determined on Sunday, when second-placed Växjö (19 points) meet IFK Norrköping (24 points), who occupy the relegation play-off place.

Rosengård have 24 points.

“It is important not to focus on Växjö, Norrköping or the teams around us. We should focus on what we have to do and not think too much about the consequences,” Rosengård captain Thea Sørbo told SVT after the 0-2 defeat to clear second-placed Hammarby.

Above Rosengård, Piteå secured their place in the league with a 1-1 home draw against Malmö FF.
