Vonn's decision is condemned - could result in an 80-year-old knee

Sports physician Matilda Lundblad condemns Lindsey Vonn's decision to compete in the Olympic downhill event with a torn cruciate ligament. "It can accelerate the development of osteoarthritis," wrote Lundblad, noting that the alpine star "risks having a knee that is biologically equivalent to that of an 80-year-old."
