Michael Carrick Says He Can’t Predict His Future as Manchester United Manager Amid Pressure

Does Michael Carrick have only two games left as Manchester United manager? The Englishman has brushed off questions about whether he will be sacked. “I don't know what will happen,” he says.

On Tuesday, Roma host Manchester United in the Champions League, followed by Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday. Club football then takes a break for the international break.

Will Carrick still be United manager when the players return?

“I can't see into the future. I don't know what will happen. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's game,” he said at a press conference on Monday.

Manchester United, who have won the English league 20 times, have won only two of their 13 games in all competitions this season. The team have gone nine consecutive matches without a win.
