FIFA Yet to Answer UEFA’s 42 Questions on Governance and Controversies

The European football governing body Uefa has demanded answers to 42 questions about the governance of Fifa and several controversies. A few hours before the deadline, it had yet to receive a response.

Both the Norwegian news agency NTB and the British PA report that Uefa leaders were still waiting for a response from Fifa on Monday afternoon. The deadline is midnight on Monday, November 2.

Uefa's eight-page letter is dated October 19 and was sent to Fifa general secretary Mattias Grafström, who is Swedish.

Many of the questions concern Fifa president Gianni Infantino's now-scrapped plans to sell shares in the World Cup to private investors.
