Norway’s Security Service Advises Politicians to Stop Using Dating Apps

Don't swipe on dating apps such as Tinder, Hinge and Grindr. That's the advice Norway's top politicians have received from the security service PST, Dagens Næringsliv reports.

The newspaper has learned that several state secretaries in Oslo, for example, have had profiles on the apps. But according to sources, PST has now advised them to stop using the apps.

Officially, the security service has only made more general statements.

“PST advises decision-makers on what government officials should be aware of in terms of their own safety online,” Martin Bernsen from PST writes to the newspaper. “This also applies to presence on dating apps.”
