Houthis Say 33 Killed in Attacks Near Yemen’s Capital, Sanaa

The Iran-backed Houthi movement says 33 people have been killed in attacks on a village just outside the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

Anees Alasbahi, a spokesman for the Houthi-controlled health authority, blames Saudi Arabia for the attacks and says about 40 people have been injured.

The flare-up in fighting between the Saudi-led coalition and the Houthi movement has forced more than 300,000 people to flee their homes in Yemen, according to United Nations figures.
