Children of the Forest is a performance for children aged one to three and the adults with them, freely inspired by Elsa Beskow’s classic children’s book. Through dance, movement, music and play, it follows three siblings through a year in the forest as they grow, quarrel and learn about themselves and one another. The production frames everyday childhood as a world of curiosity, connection and shared discovery.
Visit Stockholm describes it as a bold, techno-infused visual performance. The theatre’s event page describes a work about siblings, nature and the joy of moving through the world. It lasts about 30 minutes. The event’s ticket page says the event is sold out.
