Kulturhuset Stadsteatern is Stockholm’s arts and culture centre, in a multistory building at Sergels torg. Its programme and facilities include live theatre, concerts, exhibitions, libraries, seminars, events and a cinema. The venue also lists dance, author talks, film, debates and activities for children. The range gives visitors options for a performance, an exhibition or a library visit, with activities for families among the offerings.
Visit Stockholm describes the centre as a popular daytime meeting place, especially for parents on parental leave. Several restaurants and cafés offer lunch, fika or dinner before a show. That makes it possible to combine a cultural visit with food or coffee in the same place. The material describes the kinds of activities and places to eat, but does not specify a visit length or a particular schedule. Check the programme for the event or activity you want to see.
