Mångkulturellt Centrum (MKC) is a municipal foundation and a cultural and knowledge centre. It says its work covers democracy, equality, segregation, racism and cultural heritage, and aims for migration to be part of Sweden’s national cultural heritage. The centre researches, provides education and publishes books. Visitors can find exhibitions, a specialist library, an art-education workshop, public programmes, a shop and Tavernan restaurant.

The centre’s website describes an exhibition called SKULD, about the many faces of guilt, and says it opened on 8 May. It gives no end date. Tavernan serves climate-friendly vegetarian dishes inspired by Jamaica, according to Visit Stockholm.

The website lists opening hours Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 16:00, but says only Tavernan is open on Mondays. The library is open Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00 to 16:00. The next listed session of Somaya’s fika and conversation is Tuesday, 3 November, from 10:30 to 11:30 at Tavernan. The centre describes it as a free social activity for women and children; further sessions are listed for 10 and 17 November. No general admission price or typical visit length is stated. The address is Värdshusvägen 7, 145 50 Norsborg.
