Tisdagen den 15 december fyller Postmuseum 120 år! Vi firar hela dagen genom att bjuda alla besökare på fri entré. Följ med på en historisk visning genom huset Från några få rum i starten växte museet sakta men säkert till att ta plats i hela huset. Är du nyfiken på hur vårt gamla hus har förändrats under de 120 år som museet har funnits? Följ med på en visning där vi berättar om både post- och museihistoria, pågår cirka en timme.

The Postal Museum's new exhibition Swedish stamps reflects the country we live in. In recent years alone, you'll find epatraktors, the king, peace symbols, suffrage fighters and many more motifs. Small pictures of Sweden that we then put on our letters, invitations, Christmas cards or small gifts we send to each other. But how are the motifs actually selected? What makes up the picture and how is a stamp designed? You'll find out in the exhibition A Little Corner of Sweden.

With almost 400 objects in the postal history exhibition, POST welcomes visitors to an experiential and interactive exhibition that activates all the senses. Here you can follow the history of the post office from the 17th century until today. The exhibition highlights the hard work and both the people who made communication between people possible over five centuries and those who received mail. An exhibition for both adults and children.
Family tour at the Postal Museum

Welcome to the family tour of the POST exhibition. Every other Friday at 11:15 we go on a walk of about 20 minutes. We ride a stagecoach, climb on the post horse, greet the servant, look at the ice boat Simpan, peek into the train carriage, visit the post office and try on postal uniforms. It is okay to take fun photos through the exhibition! The family tour is included in the entrance ticket.

Who would you like to surprise with a Christmas greeting this year? Welcome to an evening of letter writing where you craft Christmas greetings to friends far away, the neighbor, or the relative you’ve never met. The Postal Museum sets the table with paper and pens.
Post Work - evening open with free admission once a month at the Postal Museum

One Thursday evening a month, we keep the museum open with free admission. At restaurant AVI, it's After Work with tapas and delicious drinks - a perfect way to round off the day with colleagues and friends. Sometimes there's also a tour that you can follow. Due to overwhelming demand, including a sold-out show in Stockholm, The Witcher in Concert returns to Europe in 2026. On 2 November, the production will make its only stop in Sweden, taking place at Annexet in Stockholm.

Dive into the kelp forests and meet the wolffish, whose powerful jaws help keep sea urchin populations in check and protect the forest.

We discover through improvisations what is funny about ourselves in order to make the audience laughing at this lovable, open and naive red nosed person who pops up on the stage when we least expect it.
