The Wednesday oyster evenings are under way at Americain and are scheduled to continue through 25 November. The oyster cart comes into Haymarket’s award-winning bar, where fresh oysters are shucked to order.
Haymarket Event Scene describes its weekly programme as open to hotel guests and locals alike. The wider programme ranges from live music and DJ sets to tastings, social gatherings and film nights. During after-work hours, Haymarket DJs provide the soundtrack and atmosphere. Admission is free and no booking is required, but seating is limited, so arriving early is sensible. The evening suits visitors who want oysters in a bar setting with a DJ soundtrack, without making a reservation.

Distressed silk, frayed edges, raw surfaces and torn silk meet couture precision, creating silhouettes that move between dark sensuality and drama. The works explore the tension between structure and motion, while framing the contrast between elegance and rawness. On view in Gretas at Haymarket until January.
