Peter Hägerås’s exhibition brings together watercolours, album art and flying-saucer imagery. The works range from paintings made for a particular purpose to pictures he wanted to paint simply for their own sake. Music and visual art run through the exhibition together. Hägerås is also releasing new music alongside it, with some of the paintings again appearing as album covers.
Presentmakeriet is a shop on Södermalm that sells gifts from Swedish designers. Its exhibition space hosts one artist at a time for a few weeks, and the shop says visitors can meet the artist at a vernissage and find art to take home. The exhibition is on now, offering a chance to see Hägerås’s paintings alongside the music they connect to.
