Dashi takes its name from dashi, a Japanese broth used in soups, sauces and marinades. Visit Stockholm says the broth features on the restaurant’s seasonal osusume menu, a format based on the chef’s recommendations. The restaurant’s menu says its highlights include dry-aged fish, meat and seasonal produce. Guests can add a saké pairing that showcases a range of saké.

The menu can be adapted for pescatarian guests. Dashi says it cannot cater for vegan or vegetarian diets, guests who eat no seafood, or several other dietary needs, including coeliac disease and avoiding cooking alcohol, alliums, soy sauce or sesame. For other dietary requests, contact the restaurant before booking and provide information for everyone in the party. Dashi describes its service as a banquet: all guests are served at the same time. Its website says the doors open at the reservation time and close 15 minutes later. Visit Stockholm lists the address as Rådmansgatan 23, 114 25 Stockholm, and says Dashi has held one Michelin star since May 2024.
