Trio Van Funk, The Node’s house band, plays jazz fusion at the venue every Thursday. The Node is beneath the Sergel Fountain in central Stockholm. For visitors who want live music, the weekly format offers a recurring chance to hear the band.
The Node describes itself as a place to develop music, join a music community and build an audience. Its 2,400 square metres include studios, stages and event spaces. The venue also offers space for conferences, book or product launches and club nights. The Thursday performance sits within that wider mix: The Node says it welcomes people who come to create music as well as those who come to hear it.
