Lost is back at Kungliga Operan as a small-format opera with music by Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi. The dream play follows Klara, who has forgotten her name and cannot find her way home. While searching, she meets an egg that will not hatch, a wind that longs to be a stone and a tree that wishes it were water. Curiosity and wonder help her find her way back to something new and to herself.
The production is intended for children aged six and above. Its 2024 premiere was popular with critics and audiences of all ages, according to the opera’s page. A relaxed performance is listed for November 10, with a short introduction, a smaller audience, muted sound, lights on throughout and extra audience hosts.
