Parasites in the water - warning of future problems

For 58 days in midwinter, Visby residents were forced to boil their drinking water, as plankton and parasites - which typically add to Gotland's notorious summer water shortages - contributed to the problem. The situation on the island is a warning of how a changing climate threatens our most important resource.
