Two Sigtuna students face new assault suspicions as prosecutor seeks detention again

New suspicions have been raised against two students previously detained in connection with a case at Sigtuna School. Prosecutor Lisa dos Santos is requesting that both be detained again.

The new suspicions concern four cases of assault and one case of unlawful coercion for one student. The other is suspected of two further cases of assault.

“These are new suspicions that have emerged during the investigation,” says prosecutor Lisa dos Santos.

The investigation consists largely of interview records, according to the prosecutor.

They were previously detained on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault, aggravated unlawful coercion and aggravated assault. One of them is also suspected of making unlawful threats.
