Jimmie Åkesson to Discuss Government Formation at Friday Press Conference

So far, during the stalemate in government formation, the Sweden Democrats (SD) have maintained their demand for ministerial posts in order to form a government.

The right-wing parties lack the seats needed to secure a majority in the Riksdag. The Centre Party, which has sought a centre-right alternative, has so far ruled out cooperation with the SD.
