According to the district court's ruling, the man from Värmland manipulated a ten-year-old child “in a ruthless manner”, offering Pokémon cards in exchange for sexual acts.
In addition to touching the child, the man asked for pictures of the child's genitals and sent pictures of his own. He said he was drunk when he acted.
The prosecutor called for the man to be convicted of serious sexual offences, but the district court did not consider the crimes serious.
The man was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay 109,600 kronor in damages.
