Marine Le Pen says she will run for president after court ruling clears way for candidacy

The figurehead of the French far right, Marine Le Pen, says in an interview with LCI that despite Tuesday's verdict against her, she intends to run in the next presidential election. “I am happy that the French are being given the freedom to vote and that I am getting my candidacy back. I want to go all the way with the opportunities I have been given to be able to defend my innocence,” Le Pen says.
