Alaska Voter Fraud Investigation Expands as Federal Prosecutors Open Criminal Probe

The investigation into voter fraud in Alaska is expanding. Federal prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation, and the FBI is working to “ensure that all votes go to the people they are intended for.”

The Democrats are accused of orchestrating an attempt to take a Senate seat in Alaska by having a nonpartisan former Republican run in the Senate election - a man with a name almost identical to that of the Republican candidate.

This week, The New York Times reported new information about the case, and Republicans have increased their resources to try to prove that the Democrats committed voter fraud.

The Justice Department has provided local officials with additional resources to investigate whether a crime was committed. According to Alaska Attorney General Michael Heyman, state and federal police are both working on the case. However, he does not want to reveal what crime may have been committed or by whom.

The Trump administration has also requested that the election results not be certified until the investigation is complete, at least if Republican Senator Sullivan loses to Democratic candidate Mary Peltola, who has also been targeted by her political opponents.
