South Korea Admits to Human Rights Violations in Past Adoptions

South Korea acknowledges that human rights violations were committed when children were adopted abroad. Adoptions often took place without consent, there are examples of outright kidnappings. It was a way to get rid of children that Korea did not want. That acknowledgment we have all received today, says adopted Hanna Johansson.
