In total, Lundgren is sentenced to five years in prison by the Lund District Court. In October last year, he raped a 17-year-old girl in his then-residence in Hörby after he had given her so much alcohol that she had become heavily intoxicated.
In interrogations, the girl has stated that she was "shocked" and that she did not "know what to do".
Wanted to see higher sentence
Prosecutor Anders Stridh requested that the crime be classified as aggravated rape because he claimed that Lundgren had mixed narcotics and medication in the alcohol, and had therefore wanted to see a higher sentence.
The District Court, however, believes that it is not proven and has therefore assessed the crime as rape of normal degree.
The sentence for aggravated rape starts at five years in prison, together with the other crimes, so we think it should not be below six years in prison, says Stridh, who has not yet made a decision about appealing the verdict.
The District Court has shared my opinion on the most important issue, that there has been intercourse, that it has not been voluntary and that the plaintiff has been in a particularly vulnerable situation.
Filmed under skirts
In addition to the prison sentence, Lundgren must pay 270,000 kronor in damages to the girl. He has denied the rape, but has admitted to giving the girl alcohol and drugs.
He is also sentenced for sexual harassment on 38 occasions, including secretly filming under skirts, dresses, and shorts on women and girls.
Furthermore, he is sentenced for child pornography offenses on three occasions, narcotics offenses on two occasions, and unlawful procurement of alcohol on three occasions.
He is acquitted of four cases of child pornography and sexual harassment on three occasions.
Has relapsed quickly
The Nytorget man Fredrik Lundgren was previously named Carl Erik Pursiainen and Andreas Holm and is today 38 years old. He previously lived at Nytorget in Stockholm and there, in his home, he filmed assaults on seemingly sleeping or unconscious women.
He was then sentenced to five years in prison for rapes, sexual assaults, and harassment, but was released on probation with a remaining sentence of just over 20 months – despite the risk of relapse being assessed as high.
Today's verdict means that he will also have to serve that time in prison.
