The office will close on March 1, 2027.
"Volvo Cars has decided to concentrate its competencies and resources in Sweden in fewer locations by moving most of the areas of responsibility from the office in Stockholm to the company's headquarters in Gothenburg," the car manufacturer writes.
The decision will contribute to cost efficiencies, the company writes.
Approximately 450 employees are currently based at the Stockholm office. The transition will be implemented gradually until the office closes in March next year.
"Volvo Cars will manage the process in close dialogue with employees and company representatives," the automaker writes.
