It is an attempt to silence me and tarnish my name, says the Member of the European Parliament to DN.
The incident is often described as a quarrel. Completely incorrectly, according to Teodorescu Måwe, who calls it an "unprovoked attack on me as an elected representative".
According to Teodorescu Måwe, the unknown official from V stepped forward and shouted in English that she was a terrible person. Then, she says, she fended off the official's attempt to tear her phone out of her hands.
The person wanted to show what a terrible person I am, linked to the fact that I have taken a stand for Israel and claimed that I am behind the civilian suffering, which I absolutely do not, she says.
There have been many twists and turns surrounding the incident. V has reported it to the police for assault and Teodorescu Måwe has filed a counter-report for false accusation. The parliament's spokesperson has given the KD-top person the right, which has been criticized by V – who themselves rely on a lawyer's assessment in favor of the official.
