Penal Reform to Add 16,000 Prison Years Annually in Sweden

The Government's major penal law reform is expected to lead to 16,000 more sentenced prison years and cost 16 billion kronor annually to implement. It is the largest reform in modern times, says Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (The Moderate Party).
