An airplane from French Air France sounded the alarm during the approach to Arlanda on Saturday evening.
The plane, an Airbus A220–300, indicated possible smoke development on board and the passengers were forced to use oxygen masks during the landing.
The alarm came in at 23.06 when the plane was at high altitude about three miles south of Stockholm, writes Aftonbladet.
A large response was initiated at Arlanda but the plane landed safely and no one was injured. It is not confirmed that there was actually any smoke development, but the plane will be examined to determine the cause of the alarm.
