Minister for Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa (M) state secretary Håkan Jevrell is leaving his post, writes Expressen.
According to Jevrell himself, the reason is that he has applied for a post at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
"I have some time ago applied for a post in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' organization. To have the opportunity to be part of that process, I will leave the role as state secretary and return to my basic employment at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.", writes the former state secretary in a post on Linkedin.
Håkan Jevrell was recently featured in TV4's investigative program "Kalla fakta", which reported that he owns shares in companies that he promotes through his job. It is about shares worth over half a million kronor in companies such as Ericsson, Atlas Copco, Sandvik and Volvo.
The program has sought Jevrell in connection with the investigation, but he has not appeared for an interview.
