A small child has been taken to hospital after being found in a pond in Höganäs municipality in Skåne, reports Helsingborgs Dagblad.

It was a child, in the age of three who was found lifeless in a pond, says Mattias Johansson, duty officer at the rescue service, to HD.

The alarm came at 6 pm on Friday. An ambulance was quickly on the spot and gave heart and lung rescue, but how it has gone for the child the rescue service cannot say.

It has gone very fast, the ambulance was just before us and the child has received help very quickly, says Magnus Wickman, firemaster at the rescue service in Höganäs, to the newspaper.

The police have also been on the spot but say to TT that it is not a police matter.
