15:35 A police patrol noted how a driver swerved from side to side on Highway 32 outside Eksjö. The driver refused to stop on the police officer's signal, and the driver continued driving at approximately 80 km/h.

A subsequent pursuit was therefore initiated near Skullaryd. When the driver passed Aneby, a police patrol was able to pass the relevant vehicle, position itself in front and slow it down. The suspected vehicle eventually came to a complete stop without any damage or personal injuries.

The driver, a woman in her 30s, was suspected of reckless driving, failing to stop on the police officer's signal, and driving under the influence. She was taken in for further blood sampling and questioning. Not arrested.
