Study: All children with obesity should receive treatment

Children with moderate obesity are at a significantly increased risk of developing health problems later in life - even if they have normal blood and liver values. Among other things, the risk of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and abnormal blood lipid levels increases, a study shows.
