It was in July last year that the police were alerted to an apartment dispute in Kristinehamn, Värmland. A man in his 50s was found dead in a residence.
According to the district court verdict, the man was stabbed several times and died from his injuries. Now the woman, who previously had a relationship with the man, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for murder.
The woman claimed self-defense, but was convicted despite her denial.
