"That the Liberals are the first party to enter into an agreement on a blue-yellow collaboration and open the door to the SD being in government is a painful sadness for me," he writes in a post on Facebook.

Sara Gunnarsson, regional councilor for Värmland, also says that she will step down from L's party board. Jimmy Ekström, regional councilor in Jönköping, is also leaving his duties.

Ina Lindström Skandevall, party board member from Sundsvall, will also leave her position.

"I will leave the party board now, but will remain in other positions for the remainder of the term. I will not run for re-election and will not participate in any election campaign," she writes to Aftonbladet.

Malin Sjöberg Högrell, who is a regional councilor for the Liberal Party in Uppsala, is withdrawing her candidacy for both the Riksdag and the regional council. She is critical of the fact that the national assembly has not been allowed to discuss the actual path chosen, writes Dagens Nyheter .

"It will be a personal election instead of us getting to vote on the substantive issue. And we will be the first party to say yes to SD in government; SD will get ministerial posts and be allowed to lead ministries. That was not the development I wanted to see," she tells the newspaper.
