In discussions with the government, Systembolaget has raised the issue of extended hours for home deliveries on several occasions in recent months, according to SVT.
The reason is that it wants to meet increased demand for e-commerce.
Currently, home deliveries can only be made during store opening hours, which Health Minister Elisabet Lann believes would be "unnecessarily expensive."
"Transportation will be more expensive for Systembolaget when they have to make deliveries before the store closes," says Lann, who wants to see an investigation into the proposal.
