The bill for a child is skyrocketing - up to a million kronor

Over the past ten years, the cost of raising a child has risen by almost one million kronor. From cradle to their 18th birthday, a child now costs 2.2 million kronor - and even more if a parent chooses to work part-time. That's an enormous increase in just ten years, says Américo Fernández, private economist at SEB.
