Asian stock markets mixed as South Korea’s Kospi falls 4% and Hang Seng rises 3.4%

Only Japan is seeing mixed movements. The Nikkei 225 is down 0.5 percent, while the broader Topix is up 1.6 percent.

South Korea's Kospi is down 4.0 percent at lunchtime, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng is up 3.4 percent.

Shenzhen is up 1.4 percent, while Shanghai is unchanged.
