Coffin mystery at the Eiffel Tower – Russian connection being investigated
Three men have been arrested for placing five coffins – draped in the French flag and with the inscription "Ukraine's French soldiers" – near the Eiffel Tower. Russia is believed to be behind it, according to French intelligence, reports the BBC.
Thought to be a hostage – remains found
The remains of an Israeli man, said to have been killed by Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist organization, in its attack on Israel on October 7, have been found, according to Israeli media, citing the military. Authorities initially believed that the 35-year-old man had been taken hostage during the attack.
