14 people - most of them women and children - have been killed in one of the attacks that Palestinian sources report. The attack was directed against a residential building in Jabalia north of the city of Gaza and the remains were taken to two hospitals that confirm the death toll for international media.

"14 martyrs, including six children and three women, and more than 20 missing persons who are still under the rubble", writes Gaza's civil defense authority's spokesperson Mahmud Basal on social media.

The hospitals report a slightly higher proportion of children and women among the victims.

The civil defense spokesperson reports on another attack, which was directed against a building in an area in the southern outskirts of the city of Gaza. He writes that five people have been killed and that additional people are missing also there.

On Monday evening, Israel urged those living in the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza to evacuate. The reason was, according to the Israeli military (IDF), that the terrorist-stamped Hamas was operating in the region.

"IDF will perform operations with great force in areas where you are located" urged the military's spokesperson Avichay Adraee and said that areas west of al-Mawasi were safe. He added that al-Amal hospital in Khan Yunis was not included in the Israeli military plans.

During the war, more than 54,400 people have been killed so far, according to the Palestinian healthcare's ongoing compilation.
