Netanyahu is on a trip to the USA where he earlier in the week met President Donald Trump. He says to reporters outside the Capitol in Washington that he and Trump have a "common goal" which includes the release of hostages and an end to Hamas rule on the Gaza Strip and says at the same time that Trump's strategy for ceasefire does not imply pressure on Israel.
