Over 11,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been reported missing since the war between Israel and the terrorist-stamped Hamas broke out in October 2023, reports Sveriges Radio Ekot, with reference to new figures from the UN.
The majority of the missing are women and children and in recent weeks, the reports of missing people have increased markedly.
The number of missing people has reached astonishing levels, says Ghazi al-Majdalawi who is co-founder of the Palestinian Center for Missing and Disappeared to Ekot.
According to Ghazi al-Majdalawi, tens of people disappear every day in connection with their attempts to obtain supplies and many are buried in rubble.
