Mining industry: New municipal veto could stop uranium mining

The government has reversed course on the uranium issue and is proposing a new municipal veto against mining in alum shale. "This risks in practice stopping the mining of uranium and other important metals in Sweden," says the industry. But the decision is well justified, says the minister responsible for mining, Ebba Busch (KD).
