At 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday the district court raised the alarm about the letter, which, according to local media, contained an unknown powder. The district court was evacuated and cordoned off.
Police initially said three people may have been exposed to the substance, but later updated the number to seven people who had been in close proximity to the letter. There is no information that anyone required hospital treatment.
The case's classification was simultaneously changed from "unlawful threats" to "attempted serious public destruction."
By lunchtime, the letter had been dealt with, after which the operation was concluded.
