Mountains of clothes are growing as expensive recycling comes to a standstill

The lavish, globally unique sorting machine in Malmö was supposed to make it possible to give old clothes new life, as raw material for new textiles. But it stands still – the interest in textile recycling is too small. Instead, the mountains of discarded textiles are growing.
