When the 32-year-old mother of small children was killed in the school shooting in Örebro, her husband was living abroad, as he lacked a Swedish residence permit.

Now, the husband, who is also the father of the four children who lived with their mother in Sweden, has been granted a residence permit, reports Nerikes Allehanda.

The decision came after the Migration Agency set up an express lane for families affected by the incident.

Now I can help my children, the man tells NA.

His wife was studying to become a nurse at Risbergska school and was one of ten killed in the school shooting on February 4 this year.
