I have established that there is nothing to blame the police for here, says prosecutor Anders Jacobsson to the radio.

The police had previously stated that they managed to interrupt the deadly violence by arriving at the school. The perpetrator Rickard Andersson then took his own life five minutes after the first police officers arrived.

A "handful" of reports were filed after the massacre to the special prosecutor's office, which investigates allegations against, among others, police officers.

However, after reviewing material from police body cameras, incident reports, and protocols, it is believed that there is no reason to initiate a preliminary investigation into potential misconduct.

Rather, much suggests that the police's actions have saved lives, says Jacobsson.

Ten people were murdered in the attack on Campus Risbergska on February 4.
