Two people have been found with cuts and stab wounds in a residence in Bjärred, west of Lund. One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance with unclear injuries. The other person was examined by ambulance personnel on site – the police had no information at 21.15 as to whether this person was also taken to hospital or not.
A man in his 60s has been arrested. The crime classification is attempted murder.
That's what it's been set as for now, then the investigation will have its course – but that's what he's been arrested for, says police spokesperson Lina Friberg.
According to the police, the arrested person has "some form of relationship" with the injured persons previously.
